Our Programs

We embark on various projects and campaigns to create public awareness on stroke causes, symptoms and survival mechanisms. Our aim is to make people know that stroke can happen to anybody – young or old, and when it does it doesn’t have to be a death sentence if proper treatment and support is given.

Annual World Stroke Day

World Stroke Day is observed on October 29 to underscore the serious nature and high rates of stroke, raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of the condition, and ensure better care and support for survivors.

Outreach Programme

We will be reaching out to residents in various communities within Abeokuta on a mass campaign. The goal of this outreach is to create awareness and to eradicate stroke by October 2021. You can join us or support us with your donations.

Radio Programme

A 13 week heath enlightenment programme. In 2013, the club embarked on a video documentary programme with the focus on publication sensitization and education. It featured brand spectrum expert on management and rehabilitation.

Our Survivor Stories

“There’s something really powerful about groups and shared experiences. People might be skeptical about their ability to change if they’re by themselves, but a group will convince them to suspend disbelief. A community creates belief.”
